Yeah its winter but for the last couple days Wisconsin seemed more like LA. A brief heatwave got us all having spring fever! and dressing like it too.

New Trend!?

Remember when Ray Ban redesigned/relaunched/brought back (whatever you want to call it) the Wayfarer sunglasses?! We were all like whaaa- that's kinda cool and now like everybody and their mother wears em'... WELL... is this the new thing for spring, revived from the early 50s and ready to take over modern day fashion once again?!



The "round" sunglasses... hmm... Chanel designed a line and MK (an original Wayfarer vintage frame trend setter) is already down for the cause... I'm def. going to jump on this trend train. Check it.

Melina's Shout OUTSSSS

SO to yesterday being the drunkest day/night of my life (thank you bloody mary's), then writing a depressing blog ... and to Rachel for throwing up in her bed.

SO to Matt Wolk for thinking he was Hercules and during the game trying to rip his shirt off when the Steelers stopped the Cardinals with a couple minutes left... The best part was that you failed then had to go the rest of the night with your collar all stretched out (oh wait no, you changed into that child size pink polo).

ASO (anti-shout out) to Bruce - your halftime show blew.

SO to the 75 year old man in our 450 class with a picture of a kitten taped to his binder - you are adorable.

SO to Hunto for finally getting back on her blog.

ASO to the man smoking a spliff up Bascom and not giving me a hit.

SO to the guy in my 134 class, we def. have something going on week after week. ;)

Its FEBRUARY!!! Oh yeahhhh that time of the year where everything that's brown, dull, dirty and dark turns to pink, red, happy and floating hearts. Yes... the time when if you are single, you are reminded of it and if you are attached, you can bask in the glory of your relationship without scrutiny.

Every year (like clockwork) during this month I turn away from my regular techno/house music/remix bs and to that time in my life when I was that "Indy rock girl" with an eyebrow ring (yeahhh image that - me + eyebrow ring... and I had other piercing that I can't really admit to anymore).

At the time, these bands/singers were under the radar and not making hit songs for shows like Gray's Anatomy or going on worldwide tours....This is my "love despair" playlist inspired single handily by my on again/off again hs/college boyfriend (some of the songs may have came out after we broke up for good in 2006, but still remind me 100% of "that" time). This is what might get me through this month:
